Fashion Icon Friday: Donna Summer
In honor of Donna Summer, who passed away yesterday, the Disco Queen herself is this week’s Fashion Icon.The five time Grammy winner was not only known for her beautiful voice and songs that make us get up and dance, but also for her iconic style. I wish I could have been alive during the days of Studio 54 and danced to “Bad Girls” being performed by a sequin-clad Donna Summer. Her style was fun and flashy, filled with oversized boas, metallic dresses, and leotards—and she rocked the thigh-high slit way before Angelina. Throughout the years, Donna Summer constantly looked stunning for performances and on the red carpet. We’ll miss her music and stand-out fashions.
