What are your go-to blogs for fashion & tech news info?
For fashion, I read The Cut, WhoWhatWear, Red Carpet Fashion Awards, and too many personal-style blogs to count.
For tech, I read Mashable and Business of Fashion.
Pick one: music, food, or movies.
Music. I love discovering new artists and seeing them perform. I think it’s part envy because I have no musical talent whatsoever.
If you could listen to one artist forever, who would it be?
It changes constantly. Right now I’d have to say Spoon or The Black Keys.
What do you love most about working with Third Wave Fashion?
The fashion tech space is an awesome field to work in. I learn so much every day at this job, and that’s saying a lot considering I’ve only worked here for a week!
Who’s your style or business crush?
I really admire the duo at WhoWhatWear, Hillary Kerr and Katherine Power, both as entrepreneurs and style gurus.
What’s your favorite startup right now, and why?
I’m intrigued by the new virtual closet, Stylitics. The website catalogues your closet and after entering your everyday outfits, it shows you how often you wear certain pieces. It’s taking us one step closer to having Cher’s closet from Clueless!
Who inspires you—whether in business or in life?
My grandmother, definitely. She was a single mother raising four children. She worked a full time job and was paid significantly less than her male coworkers. She stood up for herself and demanded equal pay, and I’ve always admired her bravery.
Where do you see yourself in 7 years?
Hopefully living in NYC and working in a fashion-related field with my trusty French Bulldog, Lola, by my side :)
