Pop-Ups Monday!

Pop-Ups Monday: Monday, June 18

Now that Father’s Day is over, it’s time to get back to shopping for yourself! When shopping is this easy, how can you resist?

Discover, explore, and enjoy!

1. 99Dresses.com

We fell in love with this startup because there is no real money involved! Instead of spending your hard-earned dollars, there is a virtual currency called “buttons.”  Buttons are earned in the best way possible! Members can upload photos of clothes they no longer want into the “Infinite Closet” and earn buttons when the item sells. If an item costs too many buttons, shoppers have the option to purchase extras for the small price of $1.  For now, only dresses are offered but the company hopes to expand beyond dresses eventually. This really is the key to guilt-free shopping!

2. Boticca.com

As seen in Vogue, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle, Boticca is an online boutique for jewelry and fashion accessories from independent, unique, and emerging designers. Instead of just seeing the item to be purchased, Boticca provides “the culture, stories, and inspiration behind the collections on the site.” The collections on display are from all around the world, so you can be sure the items you purchase are one of a kind. Aside from shopping, you can also peruse style ideas, various designers, and a fascinating blog. The story behind the company is interesting and inspiring, so be sure to check it out when you visit the site!

3. Bombfell.com

This one’s for you fellas! This site gives guys the opportunity to dress well without having to invest any time or energy. Through a simple survey, stylists on the site determine what a wardrobe lacks and subsequently ship one new item every month. Members have the opportunity to skip any given month and can choose to keep the item that was shipped to them for the small price of $69. Returns are always an option and shipping is free. Brands such as Ben Sherman and French Connection are available. “Girlfriend-approved clothes for the lazy man.” Sounds like a dream come true.
