We’ll be kicking things off with the “Summer of Mobile” Series. We are going to take you by the fashionable hand and walk you through everything that you need to know to have a smart strategy in place for emerging platforms and sophisticated new consumers. Whether you are building a mobile app or are wanting to be smart about how you live on the web, join us! We have amazing speakers lined up. Check it:
Class #1 – “Seven Deadly Mobile Myths” by Josh Clark, the web and software designer who also happens to be a hugely popular keynote speaker and author.
Class #2 – “Mobile Content Strategy: Adapting Ourselves to Mobile Content” by Karen McGrane, content and usability expert, world-renowned speaker, and soon-to-be author.
Class #3 –  ”Monetizing Mobile” by an awesome speaker TBA soon.

All master classes are always free to Style Startups members, but for our introductory series, we are offering a chance for a very limited number of non-members to attend for the insanely low rate of $50.

Tech Crush Thursday: Josh Clark 
Josh Clark is an interaction designer specializing in mobile design strategy and user experience. Josh’s company Global Moxie, offers consulting and training to media companies, design agencies, and creative organizations to help them build mobile apps and websites.
Josh loves sharing his vast knowledge on mobile design strategy; he frequently speaks at International Technology Conferences and has written on the subject numerous times. He’s the author of the book Tapworthy: Designing Great iPhone Apps and is also a contributor for Net Magazine, where last month he wrote a controversial piece claiming “Nielsen is wrong on mobile.” Josh has even previously written for Mashable (e.g. “HOW TO: Develop iPhone Apps with Staying Power”). Forbes also just featured him in an article called “Seven Deadly Mobile Myths: Josh Clark Debunks the Desktop Paradigm and More.”
Josh is more than a tech nerd—he has a B.A. from Harvard, is passionate about exercise (he created the Couch-to-5K running program), and is one of our awesome Third Wave Fashion Advisors!
