Tech Crush Thursday: Andy Dunn
This week we’re crushing on Andy Dunn, the guy we all need to thank for making guys’ butts look better.
Andy and his roommate at the time, Brian Spaly, founded Bonobos in 2007 as a solution to the issue that Brian was having finding pants that really fit him - he was constantly altering his own pants to make them fit properly. Both were Stanford business students with no background in fashion. Now, they own the largest apparel brand to launch over the web in the U.S. Recently, they entered the brick-and-mortar game by teaming up with Nordstrom. Bonobos is dedicated to helping guys find the “perfect fit.” The company has expanded past pants, made men’s suits, tops, sweaters, outerwear, and accessories.
We know how hard it can be to get some guys to shop!  However, Andy Dunn has made sure guys have an easy and comprehensive shopping experience. He’s thought it all through, from free shipping to a team of customer service “ninjas” that will help with any fit or shopping need. Bonobos also offers personal shoppers in certain cities - they really are THAT dedicated to making sure guys are dressed great. On top of this, Bonobos gives back to help endangered apes. A guy who has helped improved other guys’ style and is out there saving animals? We’re swooning!

Tech Crush Thursday: Ben Rattray

Ben Rattray is the founder of Change.org, a platform for people around the world to start campaigns and create petitions to fight for issues they care about.

Ben originally wanted to be an investment banker, however he changed his goals to technology while attending Stanford during the “tech boom of the 2000s.” He founded Change.org in 2007, wanting to promote social change after the discrimination one of his brothers faced about his homosexuality.

Ben is making the difference he wanted, with over 10,000 petitions being started through Change.org a month. In 2012, Ben was named one of Time’s List of the World’s 100 Most Influential People.

He’s also on the list of High-Tech Bachelors. ;)

Tech Crush Thursday: Elon Musk
This week’s tech crush, Elon Musk, likes to think big.
This South African-born genius taught himself how to program a computer at the age of 10. He studied Business and Physics at the University of Pennsylvania and then went on to study Applied Physics and Materials Science at Stanford.
From there, he entered into entrepreneurship, co-founding X.com, a financial and e-mail payment service. That eventually evolved into the widely used PayPal, which was acquired by eBay for $1.5 billion in 2002.
In 2002, Musk founded another company, SpaceX, which develops and manufactures space launch vehicles. One of Musk’s biggest goals is to help advance the technology of rocket science. Musk is also co-founder and head product designer at Tesla Motors. He was one of the designers of the first fully electric sports car, the Tesla Roadster.
Since an early age, Musk has dreamed about getting into three areas—“important problems that would most affect the future of humanity,” as he said later—“one was the Internet, one was clean energy, and one was space.”
He has done exactly that! To boot, he’s a dad to triplets!
That’s one busy man… and an obvious TWF tech crush.
