Tech Crush Thursday: Ben Rattray
Ben Rattray is the founder of Change.org, a platform for people around the world to start campaigns and create petitions to fight for issues they care about.
Ben originally wanted to be an investment banker, however he changed his goals to technology while attending Stanford during the “tech boom of the 2000s.” He founded Change.org in 2007, wanting to promote social change after the discrimination one of his brothers faced about his homosexuality.
Ben is making the difference he wanted, with over 10,000 petitions being started through Change.org a month. In 2012, Ben was named one of Time’s List of the World’s 100 Most Influential People.
He’s also on the list of High-Tech Bachelors. ;)
