The ladies of Third Wave Fashion at last night’s Fashion 2.0 awards at the SVA theatre: Jessica Surbaugh, Cyndi Ramirez, and founder Liza Kindred.  

Here’s a little breakdown of our evening…

1- Enter the SVA theatre, cold and with some snowflakes slowly melting into our hair. 

2- Check coats, it’s rather warm and bright in the reception area. 

3- Complimentary champagne? Score!

4- Mingle. Get more champagne. Pick at hor d’oeurves. 

5- Enter into the theatre. Find seats. Bergdorf girls sit next to us. Score, again!

6- Laugh loudly at Robert Verdi’s hilariously inappropriate jokes. “Norma Kamali has lube in her purse.” Ummm, what?!

7- Agree, and disagree with some of the winners. Bergdorf’s Unleashed video got ROBBED. That’s all we’ll comment on.  

8- Awards end. Time to get in front of the step-and-repeat. Click, click, flash. We love being photographed ;). 

9- Time to party it up at the Style Like U party. But not before we make a pit stop for pizza so that we don’t fall on our faces for drinking on an empty stomach. 

10- LES NYC, here we come. Open House is packed with a glittering crowd straight out of the Style Like U features. An amazing turnout.. and might we add, awesome DJ!  

11- We greet the mother/daughter founders, Elisa and Lily before we make our way to our last stop. 

12- PHD at the Dream Downtown for the Have-to-Have party. Thankfully the doorman-Alex Julian- was in an accommodating mood. No problem there. 

13- We post up shop. “Third Wave Fashion table.” And continue doing what we do best- drink, duh.  

14- Uh oh, it’s late and we have work to do tomorrow. It was a good night but we had to say goodbye. 

Overall, we had a fantastic evening filled with stylish people and creative individuals. Inspiring on all fronts.
